How it works

RAD140 (testolone) is a nonsteroidal selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) that functions as a high-affinity agonist of the androgen receptor (AR), inducing ligand-dependent conformational changes that promote tissue-selective coactivator recruitment and gene transcription. It preferentially activates anabolic AR signaling pathways in skeletal muscle and osteoblasts, upregulating myogenic and osteogenic gene expression, while exhibiting functional antagonism or reduced agonism in prostate and mammary tissues. RAD140 is not a substrate for aromatase or 5α-reductase, thereby avoiding conversion to estrogenic or dihydrotestosterone (DHT) metabolites, and exerts downstream effects through modulation of protein synthesis, nitrogen retention, and bone mineralization.
