How it works

GHK-Cu (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine copper complex) is a tripeptide naturally bound to copper ions that functions as a regenerative and wound-healing modulator. It promotes cell proliferation, migration, and differentiation in fibroblasts, keratinocytes, and endothelial cells, supporting tissue repair, angiogenesis, and extracellular matrix remodeling. GHK-Cu upregulates collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycan synthesis while downregulating matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) that degrade the extracellular matrix. It also exhibits antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and DNA repair–enhancing properties, stabilizing genomic integrity and reducing oxidative stress. Through these mechanisms, GHK-Cu contributes to skin rejuvenation, wound healing, and overall tissue regeneration.
